30 Sunsets in Lisbon #3 Miradouro do Monte Agudo

Secret Spot:The hidden Jewel of Lisbon

The miradouro do Monte Agudo absolutely turned out to be one big of a positve surprise. Is it a super calm and beautiful place from where you actually can see the sunset over the city. The cool thing is that the miradouro is a bit of a secret spot that flys under the radar of most people. If you try to google it you won't find it very easily and will mostly be referred to the "known" miradouros. Even on the largest tourist websites you won't find it. So this is your chance to ditch the touri and become an insider.

Save yourself an hour of searching time??? Check the map at the end!

The miradouro offers a great view of Lisbon, all the way to the bridge and the crist. Go there if you want to enjoy some relaxing moments. During the day there is also a little restaurant where you can enjoy the sun by a cup of coffee.

Bring some friends and enjoy a beautiful afternoon

I hope you enjoyed and I am looking forward to seeing you tonight! Please check out more of my work on Facebook or on my Website. I appreciate any critique, suggestions, comments and am super happy for any support! Feel free to ask if you have any questions. If this was helpful to you please share it with your friends! Thanks

Peace and Love

Directions!!!

Take the green metro and get out at "Anjos". Walk down the street towards the inner city. Walk on the left side of the street and after a couple of hundred meters turn left. You will find yourself with the possibility to walk left or right. Go right and follow the street. At the end you will find a little Indian shop and a restaurant. Turn left there, walk a little further and turn left to enter the miradouro. Once you enter it looks a bit like below, at least when you have very thick glasses on ;)

The placemark is exactly where you should enter. Be careful, it is quite easy to pass the entrance

The entrance is marked by a metal gate!

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using Movable-type on various websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
